I'd like to introduce you to my Alla Prima Series. In Italian Alla Prima means "at first attempt" and perfectly describes the paintings I created for this series. I typically paint in layers and build up 10-15 or more layers in each painting. That takes a lot of time! With this new series the majority of paintings were created in one sitting or during my first attempt. Another great feature of this series is the price. Since they take me less time to create the cost is less to you as well, between $85 and $350. I still plan to do my layered paintings as well but wanted to add this budget friendly series to my collection.
