On this evening, the sunset filled the water with pinks and oranges that seemed to stretch across the entire landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eAs I worked on this painting, I wasn't trying to recreate the scene exactly as it appeared. Instead, I wanted to hold onto that feeling of watching color move through the landscape, from the sky, into the river, and across the prairie.
