This painting is abstract in nature but its shapes come from a moon flower. Moon flowers are large blooms that open at night and close during the day. This is the first oil painting I did. I started off using a sepia tone because I was afraid of using color. I love the gentle moving swoops and curves in this painting.
The painting comes ready to hang and has a 1 1/2" depth with the painting continued around the sides.
