Dianthus flowers are one of my favorite flowers because they bloom continuously. The dianthus flower is believed to be the (pioneer) reason for the word Pink was created and pinking shears were named after the flower which resembles the petals edge. So much color packed into a small flower.
This painting come ready to hang and has a 1 1/2" depth with the painting continued around the sides
