Iris flowers are some beautiful with all their colors and patterns. I named this painting 'Royal Messenger' because the iris's mythology dates back to Ancient Greece, when the goddess Iris, who personified the rainbow (the Greek word for iris), acted as the link between heaven and earth (messenger) when irises were planted over graves. Many times only the wealthy (hence the Royal) could afford this
This painting come ready to hang and has a 3/4" depth with the painting continued around the sides
