I know it seems like a lot and if you rather you can purchase the use of my supplies for the class here for $40, that only includes the use of them in class. Keep in mind I suggest you only get the colors you absolutely to get started and you can add as you go. o Rags or paper towels o Latex gloves (optional) o Small glass jars with lid o Canvas: Decide size you may want to paint on. I suggest 11x14 or larger. o Palette for oil paints. You can tape waxpaper to a hard surface. o Palette knife o Oil Paints – I suggest Gamblin or Winsor and Newton Oil Paints, NOT water mixable Start with basic colors: Titanium White, Ivory or Lamp Black,Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson,Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium YellowMedium or Light o Brushes- I use Filberts and Brights (these describe the brush shape) Try to get one of each: · FILBERT or BRIGHT, Size 2 · FILBERT or BRIGHT, Size 4 · FILBERT or BRIGHT, Size 6 · FILBERT or BRIGHT, Size 8 o Master’s Brush Cleaner o Gamblin Neo-Meglip or Liquin o Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits
