Painting Size 36”x 12” x 1.5"
Framed Size: 37.5" x 13.5" x 2"
Framed in Cherry floater frame
Tulips have long been symbols of love, renewal, and new beginnings. There's something hopeful about the way they open, gradually revealing what's been tucked inside.
A Promise Half Told was the first painting I created for my Emergence series, and in many ways, it helped shape everything that followed. Three pink tulips move across the canvas, their soft petals unfolding against a deep blue background. Unexpected golden yellow remains visible beneath the layers of pink, offering glimpses of how the painting began.
I love the idea of a promise that hasn't been fully revealed. Something beautiful is already there, but there's still a little mystery in what remains to be discovered.
Oil on canvas, painting continues around the edges. The signature is wood burned on the right side of the wood frame. The piece is wired and ready to hang. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues.
