Painting size: 8" x 8" x 1.5"
Framed size 9.5”x 9.5” x 2”
There's a moving legend associated with the Cherokee rose and the Trail of Tears, telling of mothers grieving the children they lost and finding the strength to continue. That story gives these delicate white petals a much deeper meaning. I chose Legacy because it speaks not only to remembrance and loss, but also to the love, strength, and stories carried from one generation to the next.
Oil on canvas, framed in a natural maple floater frame with a wood-burned signature on the right side. The piece is wired and ready to hang. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues.
