Painting size: 8" x 8" x 1.5"
Framed size 9.5”x 9.5” x 2”
Most of us think about what grows beneath the soil when we think of potatoes, but their flowers are surprisingly beautiful. These delicate lavender-white blooms are a reminder that there's often more to something than what we first notice. I chose Rooted because of that connection between what we see above the surface and everything happening below. It's a little reminder of the importance of our own roots and the things that keep us grounded.
Oil on canvas, framed in a natural maple floater frame with a wood-burned signature on the right side. The piece is wired and ready to hang. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues.
